IEAA inv. no. 1987.2.1 Findspot: Western Cemetery, Pit G 2420 D, III level (base found at same level as 36-5-30, next day part of right arm and hand holding handkerchief found lower down in pit, rest of statue, complete except for bit broken out of left upper arm, found June 21 in G 2411 Z, lying half under stones of door blocking) Limestone Expedition Measurements: Height: base: 6.2 cm; total: 37.5 cm Width: 10.5 cm Length: 16.6 cm Thickness: base: 3 cm Description: Limestone statue of Nedjemu; standing with left foot advanced, leaning back against rectangular support, arms hanging down at sides, hands closed holding handkerchief (?), short wig covers ears, dressed in pleated apron over white [kilt], body painted brown, hair, back support, and base black, [kilt] white, apron yellow, handkerchief white; practically complete, but in several fragments (base fragment with feet of figure only, part of right arm with hand holding handkerchief). 3D model by J.A.
