This coffin lid made of wood belonged to Nespawershefyt, an official at the temple of Amun in Karnak, Egypt, who lived around 990-940 BC. Depicted on the sarcophagus are hieroglyphics and scenes which translate into instructions for the Afterlife, according to the Book of the Dead.
